Repeat Prescriptions

DURING THE COVID 19 OUTBREAK YOU CAN ALSO RING THE SURGERY TO REQUEST A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION. WE WOULD ALSO ASK YOU TO PLEASE NOMINATE A PHARMACY FOR YOUR REPEAT PRESCIPTION TO BE SENT TO ELECTRONICALLY. THIS IS TO MINIMISE CONTACT BETWEEN PATIENTS AND STAFF SO WE CAN ALL STAY SAFE

Except in special circumstances, repeat prescriptions should be requested in writing giving 48 hours notice.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
